I definitely splurged more than I normally would when traveling just by myself, normally I’m a ‘find a place to stay the day of’ kind of person and wing my travels. This was fun to look into each place and plan everything out, although I don’t prefer it because then if things don’t go as planned, I get anxious. I’ll be planning my honeymoon within the next year to South America and so my main goal was to find locations/places to stay and activities that my fiancé and I would enjoy. Even though some of these activities and travels are more than a college student could afford I believe if you’re taking a foreign trip you should have enough saved up to be able to do as much as you would like to because you never know if you’ll be able to visit that place again. These activities are way more than I would normally do on a longer trip like this, many days I would prefer to just explore, hike, lay by the beach and do my own thing with advice from locals without having tours scheduled, but this was by far my favorite assignment!
