Renting a car... When searching on US websites such as finding this on Expedia.com and then when looking through my lonelyplanet South America travel book it gives multiple options for websites for car rentals. I found this deal on mietwagen-in-chile.de where you only have to be between 18 to 22 to rent with no additional charges. I mainly chose this website because it was the easiest to switch the language to English as opposed to others that remained in Spanish. I also factored in an estimated gas cost that it would be in each country if filling up with a 20-gallon gas tank. Obviously, these prices vary and could require more gas than accounted for in the three-week period.
Including an estimate in gas prices of 37 + 52.60 + 77 + 83.40 = $250
In total for the three weeks depending on company the cost could range anywhere from $682- $846
